i work for a commercial photographer named john laptad. i basically 'style' fabric to look its best for a photo. i style on models, plastic heads, manequins, out in the field with models, on a large white board. most of the clothing and goods i work on end up in catalogs and web pages.
dakine, pistil, and ibex are a few of the projects i have assisted in styling.
tools of the trade: steamer, iron, clothes pins, sewing pins, aluminium tape, double-sided tape, chop stick, measuring tape, ruler, foam core and whatever we think of that can assist us in making items "look" perfect. one at a time... the most recent job was approx. 600 pieces. wow! i had blisters on my finger tips from pulling pin in and out.
images below are ibex outdoor clothing we styled at the studio.
