i constructed a small black base+wall that tucked into the little window space so i would have a clean modern surface to start with.  i made a yarn wreath, garland with paper straws with bits of holiday gold garland balled up.  fake snow from pillow stuffing + west elm glitter snow dusted about...this cute santa face on a stick is from The Paper Souce on NW23rd in Portland. 

my little sunshine

young + talented.

my daughter is my bright sunshine.  she blows me away with her talent in art and design.  it is so neat to watch her grow and shine.  

@ age 11 she was asked to teach a class for young fashionistas on how to construct a duct tape dress.  she even got paid$$

btw: she did this all by herself... i tried to add my two cents and she was not having it.  i thought all the tape she chose was going too look to busy.  i was wrong.  she put it together with the geometry of a little master.

i am most certainly crushin' on Amanda Rose Taddeo. 

she is brighter than the sun.

this brown eyed beauty- whom is a trained opera singer, belted out a portion of an aria during our photo shoot yestereday.  it was breathtaking, it brought tears to my eyes. so incredibly powerful.  i swoon.

while i was styling a shoot for thelocalanimal.com, i placed my handbag on the curb.  it was a perfect color match.  the simple beauty of it brings me joy.
